We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant with 7 10 years of experience to join our consultancy team in Ford Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming, specifically in the HANA environment, and will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions to our clients. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and applications on the HANA platform.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements in HANA.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP applications.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices in ABAP development.

• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming, specifically on the HANA platform.

• Proven experience in developing and optimizing ABAP code for HANA.

• Solid understanding of SAP modules and integration points.

• Experience with performance tuning and debugging in HANA.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Certifications in SAP ABAP or related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7 10 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on HANA.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
