We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with extensive experience in workflow programming and OData services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in SAP environments, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ABAP solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of workflow processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.

• Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, workflows, and OData services.

• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions with existing systems.

• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and maintainability.

• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployment.

• Document technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices in ABAP development.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in ABAP programming with a focus on workflow development.

• Strong knowledge of OData services and their implementation in SAP.

• Expertise in SAP workflow tools and methodologies.

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.

• Experience with SAP HANA and database optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Experience in working with cross functional teams in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10 15 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong focus on workflow.

• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
