• Job Description ‿ Interface Developer (IBM ITX / Banking Integration)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interface Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support system integrations between Temenos Triple‿A (TAP) and internal banking systems. The role focuses on building robust, scalable, and high performance interfaces using IBM Integration tools (ITX/WTX, Launcher) , Unix scripting , and database technologies , supporting a Private Banking/Wealth Management environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and optimize system interfaces between Temenos Triple‿A (TAP) and various bank systems.

Build and maintain integration solutions using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX) and IBM Launcher .

Analyze and improve interface performance , including tuning mappings, reducing processing time, and optimizing data flows.

Develop and manage Unix shell scripts for interface execution, scheduling, and batch processing.

Perform data transformation, mapping, and message processing for inbound and outbound interfaces.

Work with SQL databases (Sybase/Oracle) for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.

Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into technical interface designs.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity.

Support full SDLC activities , including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Collaborate with cross functional teams including business analysts, application teams, and infrastructure teams.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of interface designs, mappings, and operational processes.

Ensure proper logging, error handling, and monitoring mechanisms are implemented across all interfaces.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands on experience with IBM ITX / WTX development (latest versions preferred).

Experience with IBM Launcher for job execution and scheduling.

Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.

Solid experience with SQL (Sybase and/or Oracle) .

Proven experience in interface development and system integration within banking or financial services.

Preferred Skills

Experience integrating with Temenos Triple‿A (TAP) .

Familiarity with core banking or wealth management systems .

Understanding of financial data flows, transactions, and reconciliation processes .

Exposure to middleware integration and enterprise messaging concepts .

Knowledge of batch processing frameworks and scheduling tools .

Experience

4‿10 years of experience in interface development or system integration.

Proven experience in banking or financial services environments .

Hands on experience delivering integration solutions involving core banking systems.
