Role – GCP Architect

Location – Remote (USA)

Key Responsibilities

GCP Cloud Operations Suite:

Cloud Monitoring

Cloud Logging

Error Reporting

Trace & Profiler

API Management & Apigee

Implement API first strategy using Apigee:

API proxies, shared flows

API product lifecycle management

Developer portal integration

Define API governance framework (versioning, throttling, monetization where applicable).

Implement security best practices:

OAuth2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect

mTLS, API key management

Threat protection policies

Design hybrid/multi cloud integrations using Apigee (X / Hybrid).

Optimize API performance and scalability.

Integrations

Design Enterprise Integration Hub using:

Apigee + Pub/Sub + Eventarc + Cloud Run

Modernize legacy batch/file based integrations into API/event based systems.

Establish canonical data models and API contracts.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

Implement CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions).

Enable Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Design container platforms (GKE / Cloud Run).

Standardize deployment frameworks and reusable components.

The pay range for this role is $140,000-$150,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
