• Senior Domain Architect ‿ EY Fabric AI (Postâ€`Sales)

• Position Summary

The Senior Domain Architect is a strategic leader within the EY Fabric Postâ€`Sales organization, responsible for defining repeatable, governed AI and GenAI architecture patterns that enable scalable adoption across EY Fabric. The role focuses on architectural integrity, reuse, and operational readiness, ensuring AI solutions are delivered through standard patterns and accelerators rather than bespoke implementations.

You will own AI reference architectures, accelerators, guardrails, and implementation blueprints that enable Forward Deployed Engineers and delivery teams to implement AI solutions consistently while managing risk, cost, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Define EY Fabric AI reference architectures covering AI Factory, OpenAI integrations, GenAI workloads, RAG and agentic patterns, model orchestration, deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

Create repeatable AI design patterns for common postâ€`sales scenarios such as secure model access, GenAI onboarding, prompt orchestration, telemetry, evaluation workflows, and operational controls.

Develop reusable AI accelerators including architecture blueprints, templates, starter kits, deployment patterns, evaluation frameworks, monitoring patterns, and handoff artifacts.

Establish responsible AI guardrails covering access controls, data boundaries, auditability, human oversight, cost management, and operational risk.

Act as the senior escalation point for complex AI architecture challenges beyond standard implementation playbooks.

Convert recurring AI delivery challenges into reusable patterns, playbooks, and platform improvements.

Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Risk, and Reliability teams to align postâ€`sales architecture with EY Fabric roadmap and governance.

Define and govern handoff expectations across Presales, Architecture, Delivery, and Support teams.

Govern exceptions to standard patterns and determine when new supported architectures are required.

Maintain architecture assets in approved repositories such as GitHub, SharePoint, and internal knowledge hubs.

Measure architecture effectiveness through pattern adoption, reduction of bespoke builds, delivery speed, and operational quality.

Mentor AI Architects and strengthen postâ€`sales AI architecture maturity.

Required Skills and Experience

10+ years of engineering experience with recent ownership of AI, ML, or GenAI system architectures.

Strong experience designing and governing production AI and GenAI platforms.

Handsâ€on knowledge of AI Factory concepts, OpenAIâ€style integrations, RAG patterns, orchestration, evaluation, and monitoring.

Strong cloud architecture fundamentals including identity, networking, security, logging, and observability.

Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, security, and operational controls.

Experience creating reusable architecture assets, standards, or accelerators.

Ability to communicate architectural tradeoffs and risks to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor‿s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience. AI, cloud, or security certifications preferred.
