IT Infrastructure Engineer

IT Infrastructure & Field Support Engineer Company: Techglora Integrated IT Services Location: Chennai (Field-Based) Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 25 Years About The Role Techglora Integrated IT Services is looking for a highly skilled and dependable IT Infrastructure & Field Support Engineer who can independently handle onsite and remote IT support for clients across Chennai. The ideal candidate should have handson experience in networking, servers, Microsoft 365, desktop support, structured cabling, CCTV, and IT infrastructure management. This role requires someone who enjoys solving technical problems, is comfortable visiting client locations, and can take complete ownership of assigned service requests. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and user account management. Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, WiFi access points, and network devices. Perform LAN, WAN, and structured network cabling installations and troubleshooting. Configure and troubleshoot broadband and internet connectivity issues. Install and maintain CCTV systems, DVR/NVR devices, and IP cameras. Perform server installation, maintenance, backup, and basic administration. Handle Active Directory user creation, password resets, permissions, and Group Policy basics. Configure network printers, scanners, and shared devices. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for desktops and laptops. Perform preventive maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) visits. Maintain service reports, asset records, and technical documentation. Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution. Ensure timely closure of support tickets while maintaining excellent customer service. Follow cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, antivirus management, Windows updates, user access control, password policies, and basic network security.
