About the role
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements Write clean, scalable, and efficient code Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications Manage and optimize database systems for better performance Write unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards Troubleshoot and resolve application issues Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development Ensure optimal performance of applications Create and maintain technical documentation for backend processes Implement security and data protection measures within applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements Contribute to architectural and design decisions for backend solutions Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) Familiarity with web frameworks such as Express.js Understanding of asynchronous programming Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices Knowledge of version control tools like Git Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment Good problem-solving and debugging skills
