About the role
Techie Associates is seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Business Analyst to support enterprise-level solutions and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry and a strong background in the Guidewire BillingCenter platform (version 9 or 10). Collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize Guidewire-based business processes. Conduct analysis of technical and functional system requirements. Facilitate JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions to capture and document requirements. Create technical and functional specifications, including source-to-target data mappings for migration projects. Translate business needs into reporting specifications using Guidewire's Data Mart. Work across Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure proper system implementation and defect resolution. Provide production support and manage change control processes. Support UAT, stakeholder engagement, and communication around system capabilities and updates. 4–5 years of experience with Guidewire BillingCenter (version 9 and/or 10). Strong understanding of P&C insurance (Personal & Commercial Auto, Property, Homeowners, Life Insurance). Experience in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). Hands-on experience with requirements engineering, data conversion, forms inference, and system integrations. Skilled in UAT planning and execution, stakeholder management, and production support. Familiarity with insurance systems integrations (claims, billing, underwriting reports, forms, SR22). Knowledge of distribution channels (agency enablement, portals, IVANS, IVR).
