About the role
Involve in various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including gathering requirements, design, development, deployment, and analysis of applications, while clarifying business problems with stakeholders and documenting objectives. Prepare functional and technical documentation such as workflows, mapping documents, metrics requirements, cube/report designs, and dimensional models to support business reporting and leadership KPIs.. Design optimized data models, develop DAX expressions, and build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power Query and other tools Design and implement enterprise Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers), including Gap and Impact Analysis for large-scale platforms Develop Big Data and Cloud solutions including Spark (PySpark) applications, Snowflake migration scripts, Azure Blob Trigger Functions, and data integrations with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Blob Storage. Build and optimize ETL processes using Python scripts, SSIS packages, and Azure Synapse pipelines, integrate heterogeneous data sources and leverage PolyBase for high performance data ingestion. Create and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes, while resolving performance issues in Power BI reports and dashboards. Provide production support by resolving tickets, fixing bugs, and manage user roles and permissions to ensure secure access to data and reports. Minimum 2 years of experience required Education requirement as Bachelors in Computer Science or a closely related field
