ETL / Data Integration Consultant

Designation: ETL / Data Integration Consultant Experience: 8+ Years Location: Ahmedabad | On-site Priority: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are looking for a skilled ETL / Data Integration Consultant to build scalable, high-performance data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Pentaho, Snowflake, Databricks and AWS, along with expertise in ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, and modern data transformation practices. This role requires an individual who can work independently, deliver reliable data solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Pentaho and modern data engineering tools. Build and optimize enterprise data platforms using Snowflake and Databricks. Design and implement data warehouses, dimensional models, and data marts. Develop data transformation models using dbt and ensure high-quality, reliable data delivery. Optimize SQL queries and improve Snowflake performance for large-scale datasets. Integrate data pipelines with Tableau and other BI/Reporting platforms. Work with AWS Cloud Services and Linux environments to deploy and support data solutions. Process structured and semi-structured data formats such as JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel. Follow Git-based development practices and collaborate using Jira. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Must-Have Skills 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Pentaho (PDI/Kettle). Expertise in Snowflake and Databricks. Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Mart design. Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling. Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines. Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and Linux. Experience integrating data platforms with Tableau or other BI tools. Strong understanding of JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel data formats. Experience with GitHub, version control, and Jira. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Good-to-Have Skills Snowflake Administration. Apache Airflow. CI/CD implementation for Data Engineering workflows. Data platform monitoring, automation, and performance optimization. Exposure to enterprise data governance and best practices.
