Java Developer Pune Full-time On-site --- About the Role This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications as part of a collaborative team. The role requires strong technical skills, collaboration, and a commitment to best practices. --- Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. - Optimize application performance and scalability. - Maintain application security and ensure compliance with coding standards. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. --- Requirements - Develop strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 or later). - Demonstrate good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. - Utilize experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework. - Apply knowledge of RESTful web services and Microservices architecture. - Leverage experience with Hibernate/JPA. - Showcase strong SQL skills with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Demonstrate familiarity with Git and version control systems. - Understand Maven or Gradle build tools. - Apply experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. - Implement knowledge of Agile development methodologies. .
