Job Title: IT Administrator Location: Calicut, Kerala On-site Full-Time About the Role TXG is hiring an IT Administrator to support the software, systems, and IT infrastructure that power our BIM (Building Information Modelling) and project delivery teams. You'll work closely with BIM Managers, Coordinators, designers, and engineers, keeping their tools, workstations, and networks running smoothly so they can focus on delivering great projects. What You'll Do Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM/AEC tools Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) resolving incidents promptly to keep project teams moving Configure and monitor LAN/WAN, manage firewalls and switches, and ensure reliable, secure connectivity across distributed project teams Administer servers and workstations, manage user accounts and access rights, run backups, and oversee patch and update management Maintain hardware standards for BIM workstations (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage) for graphics-intensive workloads Support large BIM files, shared project folders, network storage, and cloud collaboration platforms Handle day-to-day IT needs across desktops, laptops, workstations, and printers Maintain IT asset registers hardware, software licenses, warranties Coordinate with internet providers, hardware/software vendors, and IT service partners Maintain documentation of IT setup, network configuration, and licensing What You'll Bring Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve incidents promptly and maintain smooth operations for BIM/AEC tools and project environments Network administration skills LAN/WAN configuration and monitoring, firewall and switch management, and secure connectivity for distributed teams System administration skills server and workstation management, user access rights, backups, and patch/update management A solid IT foundation covering Windows and/or Linux, IT security principles, virtualization basics, and cloud/collaboration platforms Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar BIM/AEC applications, including deployment, licensing, and performance tuning Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently Nice to Have Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field Certifications in networking or system administration (e.g., CCNA, MCSA/Windows Server) or Autodesk products Prior experience supporting architecture, engineering, or construction technology teams A proactive, service-first mindset .
