Power Builder Developer

Job Title: Power Builder Developer Experience: 5+ years Work Location: Remote Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days only Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder + C# + SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in application development, maintenance, and support using PowerBuilder, with additional proficiency in C# and SQL for modern development and database management. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder , C# , and SQL . Enhance and modernize legacy PowerBuilder applications by integrating with C# modules where required. Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for application logic and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database-related issues. Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience in PowerBuilder development . Proficiency in C# (.NET Framework/.NET Core) . Solid expertise in SQL programming, performance tuning, and database design (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL). Experience with application support, debugging, and maintenance. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Good to Have: Experience in migrating applications from PowerBuilder to modern platforms. Knowledge of cloud databases and deployment (AWS/Azure). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
