Site Engineer /Site Supervisor

Project Execution Supervise erection and installation of steel structures as per approved drawings. Ensure work is executed according to project schedule. Monitor daily site activities and manpower productivity. Coordinate with fabrication and dispatch teams for timely material availability. Verify material received at site against dispatch documents. Site Coordination Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Attend site coordination meetings. Resolve day-to-day execution issues. Ensure smooth communication between site and head office. Quality Control Ensure installation complies with approved drawings and specifications. Conduct dimensional checks before and after erection. Report quality issues and coordinate corrective actions. Maintain quality inspection records. Safety Management Ensure compliance with company safety policies. Conduct toolbox talks with workers. Ensure mandatory PPE usage. Coordinate with Safety Officer for safe work practices. Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Planning & Monitoring Prepare daily work plans. Monitor project progress against schedule. Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR). Highlight delays and suggest corrective actions. Documentation Maintain site records and reports. Record manpower deployment. Maintain material consumption records. Prepare measurement sheets and work completion reports. Submit daily and weekly progress reports. Client Handling Address client concerns professionally. Obtain approvals for completed work. Support project handover documentation. Team Management Supervise supervisors, technicians, and labour teams. Allocate daily work. Monitor labour productivity. Ensure discipline at site. Technical Responsibilities Read and interpret fabrication and erection drawings. Understand GA drawings, fabrication drawings, anchor bolt layouts, and connection details. Coordinate with design team regarding drawing clarifications. Verify alignment, plumb, and level during erection. Material Management Monitor site inventory. Prevent material wastage. Ensure proper storage of steel members and accessories. Report shortages or damages immediately.
