About the RoleAs a Senior Design Engineer Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and electrical control solutions for material handling equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective automation systems that exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical control panels based on project specifications. Select and integrate automation hardware including: PLCVFDHMISafety PLCSafety RelaysSensorsSwitchgearCircuit BreakersCommunication Devices Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and control panel layouts using CAD software. Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation in ERP. Review RFQs, evaluate technical specifications, and prepare project cost estimates and proposals. Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Sales, Installation teams, vendors, and customers for seamless project execution. Participate in project kickoff meetings and provide technical inputs. Perform root cause analysis of customer complaints and implement engineering improvements. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. QualificationsEducation BE in Electrical EngineeringBE/Diploma in Instrumentation EngineeringBE in Electronics EngineeringExperience 58 years of experience in Automation Design, Control Panel Design, PLC-based Systems, Material Handling Equipment, or Industrial Automation.
