Product Manager / Business Analyst

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner / Business Analyst with a strong background in General Insurance to drive product development, gather business requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in policy administration, underwriting, claims, and digital insurance products. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business priorities. Collaborate with business users, development, QA, and UX teams throughout the product lifecycle. Drive Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Analyze existing insurance processes and recommend improvements. Work closely with underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and operations teams. Ensure timely delivery of product features while maintaining quality standards. Perform UAT planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off. Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements. Coordinate with third-party vendors and integration partners when required. Required Skills 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst. Strong domain expertise in General Insurance. Experience with: Policy Administration Systems (PAS) Underwriting Claims Management Policy Issuance & Renewals Endorsements Premium Calculation Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience writing user stories, BRD, FRD, PRD, and acceptance criteria. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with SQL for data validation is an added advantage. Preferred Skills Experience in Motor, Health, Crop, Property, or Commercial Insurance. Knowledge of Insurance APIs and digital insurance platforms. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally. Experience with digital transformation projects in the insurance domain.
