About the role
A SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats to protect an organization's systems, networks, and data. They use security tools to identify suspicious activities, analyze security incidents, and help prevent cyberattacks. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security alerts and events (24/7 SOC environment) Investigate and respond to security incidents Analyze logs from firewalls, SIEM, EDR, and other security tools Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements Escalate critical threats to senior security teams Maintain incident reports and documentation Required Skills: Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) Cybersecurity Fundamentals SIEM Tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel) Windows & Linux Basics Incident Response Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Compensation: 250,000.00 - 450,000.00 per year Work Location: In person .
