7-9 Greater Noida, Nagpur, Indore Full-Time Sr. Design Engineer – Electrical Nagpur | Indore | Noida Experience: 7–9 Years Full-Time | On-Site About The Role Design electrical systems for international projects while ensuring compliance with US codes, project standards, and multidisciplinary coordination. Key Responsibilities Develop Electrical BIM models and design deliverables for Power, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, and related systems in accordance with project BIM standards. Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, panel schedules, and lighting calculations. Review Electrical BIM models for compliance with applicable US electrical codes, regional authority requirements, client standards, and project specifications prior to submission. Ensure Electrical BIM models comply with NEC, NFPA, IEC (where applicable), IEEE (where applicable), and local authority requirements while maintaining engineering accuracy and constructability. Provide technical guidance and engineering support to the BIM team during model development, ensuring design intent, client requirements, and discipline-specific engineering standards are accurately incorporated into BIM models. Review BIM models periodically and guide the BIM team in resolving design-related issues, improving overall model health, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes, project standards, and client requirements. Coordinate Electrical designs with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines. Review shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical submittals. Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and resolve design issues. Maintain project documentation within ACC/BIM 360. What We're Looking For B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. 7–9 years of Electrical design experience on commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, or data center projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360, and AGi32, DIALux Evo, ETAP (preferred). Strong knowledge of US Electrical codes, regional authority requirements, and industry standards with the ability to validate model compliance during design development. Strong understanding of electrical design principles, multidisciplinary BIM workflows, engineering calculations, and construction documentation. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to guide BIM teams and interact with clients. Technical Expertise Power Distribution, Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power, ELV Systems, Fire Alarm, Cable Tray & Conduit Routing, Busducts, Earthing, Lightning Protection, Electrical Room Coordination, and Cable Sizing.
