About the role
Looking for a candidate with at least 3 Yrs. of experience in frameworks like Oracle DBA, PstgreSQL DBA. Candidate must be versed with Shell Scripting and Linux. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for implementation and maintenance for various database products. 2. Participate in system implementation project(s). 3. Administer relational databases including database installation, upgrade, backup recovery, high availability and performance monitoring, tuning, and database performance tuning. 4. Design and implement database backup and recovery, HA and DR solution. 5. Perform database performance tuning, patching, change management and upgrade. 6. Available to provide 24/7 support as required and support system incident handling and follow up problem diagnostics. 7. Participate in database/system/network projects enhancement and providing technical advice/solutions. 8. Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations. 9. Assist in testing and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. 10. Define database policies, procedure, discipline, and standards and responsible for the compliance governance. 11. Working on Oracle and PostgreSql Database.
