About the role
Role: Techno-Functional Consultant Demand Planning (Blue Yonder) Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week WFO) Location: Bengaluru Exp. Level: 5+ years Immediate Job Summary seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Techno-Functional Consultant – Demand Planning (Blue Yonder). This role requires strong expertise in Blue Yonder Demand, combined with techno-functional capabilities to design, implement, and optimize supply chain planning solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and efficient planning solutions. You will leverage key functionalities of Blue Yonder Demand, such as statistical forecasting engines, machine learning-driven demand sensing (D360), collaborative consensus planning, and new product introduction (NPI) lifecycle management, to drive forecast accuracy. Experience with integration to ESP is a must, and deep understanding of Supply Planning is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Lead implementation and support of Blue Yonder Demand Planning solutions Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications Configure and optimize core demand planning processes, including baseline statistical forecasting, promotional planning, and exception management Work on Blue Yonder modules including Demand Planning and ESP (Preferred) Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and IT Ensure seamless system integrations and data flow across platforms Support testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and system performance Provide techno-functional expertise for troubleshooting and enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or Computer Science 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning technology Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Demand is mandatory Proven experience in a techno-functional consulting role Strong understanding of demand planning concepts, including statistical modeling, demand sensing, consensus demand planning, and S&OP integration Experience with integrations, data models, and enterprise systems Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions Experience with other supply chain planning technologies (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle SCM) is preferred Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
