Manager - Design & Development

To manage and coordinate architectural design, development planning, and execution of real estate projects, ensuring design quality, compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end design development of residential/commercial real estate projects. Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, MEP, landscape, and interior designers . Review and finalize concept designs, schematic designs, GFC drawings, and working drawings . Ensure compliance with local development control rules (DCR), RERA norms, and statutory approvals . Coordinate with liaisoning team for approvals from authorities (Municipal Corporation, Fire, Environment, etc.). Ensure designs are aligned with project budget, timelines, and construction feasibility . Value engineering to optimize cost, materials, and space planning without compromising quality. Support marketing team with design inputs, layouts, brochures, and mock-ups . Attend design coordination meetings and site reviews to resolve execution-related design issues. Maintain proper documentation, drawing logs, and version control. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of real estate design development and construction processes Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (preferred) Good understanding of building by-laws, approvals, and statutory norms Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Qualification & Experience Bachelor s/Master s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering 8-12 years of experience in real estate design & development Experience in mid to large-scale residential/commercial projects preferred
