About the role
As an experienced Automation Platform Engineer / Migration Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supporting an enterprise automation platform while leading the migration of existing automation workflows to a recent strategic solution. Your main responsibilities will include: - Platform upgrades, patching, health checks, backups, certificates, and user access management - Inventory, assess, redesign, and migrate automation workflows - Develop and support automation solutions using Python and Ansible - Manage integrations, monitoring, logging, and production support - Execute testing, cutover, and decommissioning activities during migration Key Skills Required: - Itential administration/support (or similar automation platform) - Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting - Python scripting and REST API integrations - Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, Inventories, AWX/Automation Controller) - Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Git Lab) Preferred Skills: - AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, Cloud Watch) - Terraform basics - Network automation, Net Box/IPAM, device APIs If you possess the above skills and are ready to take on the challenge of managing an automation platform and leading migration efforts, this role might be the perfect fit for you.
