About the role
Role Overview: As an Active Directory Security Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the security of Active Directory and improve authentication processes within enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities: - Implement AD security hardening measures to reduce legacy technical debt. - Migrate authentication from NTLMv2 to Kerberos for enhanced security. - Disable RC4 encryption and enforce LDAP channel binding to strengthen security protocols. - Review and remediate Active Directory ACL permissions to ensure proper access control. - Enhance service account security and management practices. - Analyze authentication and security logs to identify and mitigate risks. - Provide support to application teams in resolving authentication and protocol issues. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Active Directory security. - Knowledge of Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, SMB, and Windows authentication. - Experience in AD hardening and troubleshooting. - Ability to work independently in enterprise environments. Please note that the job is located in Gurgaon on a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office. The contract duration is 12 months.
