Job Role: Lead Playwright Automation Test Engineer (Automotive Domain) Experience: 56 Years Location: Pune, MH We are looking for an experienced Test Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Functional Testing, API Testing, Regression Testing, JIRA, GitHub, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor QA engineers throughout the software testing lifecycle.Define and implement automation strategies using Playwright.Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases.Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, System, Smoke, Sanity, Security, and Performance Testing.Build and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks.Review automation scripts, improve test coverage, and ensure coding standards.Manage defects and test execution using JIRA.Track quality metrics, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous process improvements.Collaborate with Development, Product, Business, and DevOps teams in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.Provide testing status, quality reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders. Required Skills 5-6 years of experience in Automotive Software Testing.Must Have experience in the Automotive domain.Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright Automation Testing.Expertise with Functional, Regression, API, Integration, System, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and test strategy.Hands-on experience with JIRA and GitHub.Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.Experience leading QA teams and driving automation-first testing initiatives.
