About the role
Job Role: Lead Python Automation Developer Experience: 8+ Years Location: Pune, MH We are looking for a Python Automation Lead with strong expertise in Development & Automation Testing with Python, PostgreSQL and AWS cloud services to lead the design and development of scalable, highperformance, cloudnative applications. Key Responsibilities - Drive Python-based test automation frameworks ( PyTest, UnitTest, API/UI automation ). - Design and implement end-to-end test automation for IoT devices and connected systems, including device-cloud interaction validation. - Ensure robust test coverage across functional, integration, and system-level scenarios. - Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services , AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis) - Build API-driven and event-driven integrations across systems. - Leverage and promote usage of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex or similar tools) to improve engineering productivity. - Establish best practices for responsible AI-assisted development, code quality, and validation. - Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and testing practices. - Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, UX, and hardware/IoT teams. - Mentor team members and conduct design/code reviews. - Drive best practices around CI/CD, security, and cloud architecture. Required Skills - 8+ years of Python development experience; 2+ years in a technical lead role. - Strong expertise in , FastAPI, Django - Strong background in test automation frameworks and automation architecture. - Experience with IoT system validation and end-to-end automation involving physical devices and cloud systems. - Hands-on experience with AWS services . - Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORMs (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM). - Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Codex, or similar) in development workflows. - Strong understanding of design principles (SOLID, DRY) and architectural patterns. - Experience with REST APIs & .
