Technical Program Manager Industrial IoT (AWS Greengrass & SiteWise) Key Responsibilities Lead the integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Historian, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) into standardized asset and batch models using AWS IoT services. Design and manage industrial data pipelines leveraging AWS IoT Greengrass and AWS IoT SiteWise. Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, automation, cloud, and software engineering teams to deliver scalable industrial IoT solutions. Define and maintain standardized asset hierarchies, equipment models, and batch process models. Coordinate end-to-end technical program execution, including planning, tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Drive digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing facilities. Ensure data quality, governance, and interoperability across OT and IT systems. Work with architects and engineering teams to implement secure and scalable edge-to-cloud solutions. Manage project timelines, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables. Required Technical Skills Strong knowledge of AWS IoT Greengrass Experience with AWS IoT SiteWise Understanding of industrial data modeling and asset hierarchies Experience integrating: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Historian systems (OSIsoft PI, AVEVA Historian, etc.) Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: OPC UA Modbus MQTT Ethernet/IP Familiarity with cloud architecture and edge computing Experience with APIs and industrial data integration Preferred Experience Experience working in industrial manufacturing environments Hands-on exposure to: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) SCADA systems Industrial Historians DCS (Distributed Control Systems) Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, food & beverage, automotive, or process manufacturing industries Knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, or similar industrial standards Understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, downtime, and production analytics Program Management Skills Technical Program Management Cross-functional leadership Agile/Scrum methodologies Risk and dependency management Executive stakeholder communication Roadmap planning and execution Vendor and partner management Nice-to-Have AWS Solutions Architect or AWS IoT certifications Experience with data lakes, analytics, and visualization tools Python, SQL, or scripting experience Experience with Industrial IoT platforms and digital manufacturing initiatives Typical Interview Topics Explain the architecture of AWS IoT Greengrass and SiteWise.
