About the role
Role & responsibilities Strategy & Architecture: Design and optimize cloud data architectures, integrating SAP S/4HANA, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Business Modernization: Lead BW-to-BDC modernization and migration strategies, enabling business users to activate pre-built business content and data products. Stakeholder Management: Work directly with business and IT leaders to translate functional requirements into scalable, clean-core extensions. Data Modeling & Pipelines: Build and optimize graphical views, data flows, and analytical models within SAP Datasphere. AI/ML & Advanced Integration: Execute AI/ML workflows (often via Databricks and Unity Catalog integration) without compromising the SAP data landscape. Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain advanced SQL, Python/PySpark, and SQLScript to support data ingestion, transformation, and query optimization Required Skills & Experience Core Platforms: SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP HANA Cloud. Legacy Context: Strong exposure to SAP BW/4HANA to facilitate legacy-to-cloud migrations. Programming Languages: Advanced SQL, Python, PySpark, and SQLScript. Cloud & Ecosystems: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and partner ecosystems like Databricks or major cloud providers (AWS/Azure) .
