Development and Operations Engineer

As a Development and Operations Engineer at TekWissen Group, you will be responsible for managing the release planning, environment, version control, collaboration, testing, deployment oversight, Copado expertise, communication, documentation, change control & governance, issue tracking & resolution, and performance optimization processes. - Release Planning and Coordination - Plan and schedule the rollout of new features and updates, aligning release schedules with business objectives. - Assess product backlog, prioritize tasks, and create basic release plans. - Environment Management - Manage multiple Salesforce environments, ensuring consistency and data quality. - Handle Salesforce sandbox management and environment synchronization. - Version Control and Collaboration - Implement and maintain version control systems like Git. - Coordinate with developers for code merges and maintenance. - Testing and Deployment Oversight - Oversee testing processes and deployment execution. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines focusing on quality gates. - Copado Expertise - Hands-on experience with Copado for release management and automation. - Manage Salesforce metadata, Git repositories, and branching strategies within Copado. - Communication and Documentation - Communicate with stakeholders, provide regular updates, and prepare comprehensive release notes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful feature delivery. - Change Control & Governance - Implement change control processes and maintain detailed records. - Ensure deployments align with organizational policies and avoid unapproved changes. - Issue Tracking & Resolution - Monitor release processes, identify root causes of deployment issues, and ensure proper rollback procedures. - Performance Optimization - Continuously optimize release processes for better speed, reliability, and efficiency. - Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvement.
