GCP Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineering Engineer III at TekWissen, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud and network systems and services by automating routine manual tasks. You will have the opportunity to contribute to improving service reliability for existing and new systems by writing, configuring, and deploying code. Key Responsibilities: - Write, configure, and deploy code to enhance service reliability, setting standards for code quality. - Provide constructive feedback and review for code or production changes. - Lead the repair and optimization of complex systems, considering various contributing factors. - Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and analysis of service architecture and design. - Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system availability. - Develop documentation including design, system analysis, runbooks, and playbooks. - Implement and manage SRE monitoring application backends using Golang, Postgres, and OpenTelemetry. - Create tooling using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for visibility and issue detection. - Optimize performance and cost within GCP infrastructure, scaling resources as needed. - Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and performance. - Automate operational tasks such as on-call monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments. - Participate in postmortem analysis and develop preventative measures for future incidents. - Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. - Contribute to security audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance optimization. - Share knowledge and contribute to internal documentation.
