About the role
As an experienced individual with 5-9 years of experience, you should be an expert in Redshift administration and proficient in various AWS services like EC2, IAM, Cloudwatch, and VPC. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and support 24x7 production and development databases to ensure maximum availability for different applications. Some of the key tasks you will handle include: - Performing DBA related tasks such as Cluster resizing, Snapshot management, backup and restore object from snapshot, ESSO SAML setup, Cloudwatch Monitoring, and Performance Management. - Working on User Management, Access rights management, and Security Management to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. - Demonstrating knowledge of day-to-day database operations, deployments, and developments. - Ability to design and implement WLM/AUTO WLM by analyzing customer needs for efficiency and performance optimization. Moreover, it is essential to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. You should also excel in working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
