About the role
Senior Engineer-Design Job Summary: Design and drawing creation of Powertrain Components parts for Automotive engines is preferred. Tool design considering service life, manufacturability and costs. Strong Knowledge of GD&T, Design FMEA, APQP system and PPAP Experience in design calculations, product design as per ISO / JIS or DIN/internal norms and use of design tools. Creation of complex NC programs for complete tool processing + milling instructions will be advantage. Independent design and development of constructive solutions with the help of additive manufacturing Technical Documentation, Data Base, Bench marking. Preparation and Co-ordinating with CFT for the documentation as per IATF 16949 requirements Responsibilities: New Product developments in line with Customer requirement / input in accordance to JIS/ISO/DIN standards and general design practices. Consultation with Application Engineer, Analysis, and production for Engineering component Casting coordination with other production sites regarding die design. Determining costs and implementing procedures to reduce manufacturing costs. Ensuring governmental regulations are followed during all steps of design. Solving engineering problems / Conducting statistical analysis as needed Knowledge in internal combustion engine testing is preferred. Required Skills: Design calculations Product design knowledge Use of ISO / JIS/ DIN Standards for product design Creo and CATIA V5 and V6 / Siemens NX IT systems (SAP, Windchill) HyperMill (CAM Software) Experience: 3~5 years Qualification: Bachelors degree: Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience Level Senior Level .
