Database Administration Engineer Work Experience: 5 years relevant experience Educational Qualifications: BE/BTech Job Profile: The position involves High Level designing of database system Should be able to do technical design reviews and suggest changes to existing product for building high volume/ highly scalable applications Perform routine maintenance, backup and recovery of production databases. Should be able to setup and manage data warehouse Readiness to handle 24*7 support calls Technical Skills: 4+ years of relevant experience in PostGreSQL/Oracle DBA, RAC Knowledge on setting up and managing data warehouse Experience in PGSQL/Oracle RAC installation and configuration and production support Experience in Backup & recovery, performance & tuning, High Availability, etc Experience in DB replication and failover management. Experience in multiple operating systems, Linux a plus Must have good knowledge of Query tuning and optimization of DB for the high volume Must have good knowledge of vertical and horizontal scalability AWS RDS knowledge .
