Senior IT Systems Administrator About the Role We're a film and television post-production environment looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator who can own and operate complex network and infrastructure systems in a demanding, deadline-driven media workflow. This is a hands-on role for someone who deeply understands networking, firewalls, storage, and security and who can keep a high-throughput production facility running smoothly. If you thrive on troubleshooting hard problems, designing resilient networks, and supporting creative teams who can't afford downtime, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do - Architect, configure, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, switches, and network infrastructure across the facility - Manage and secure on-prem storage systems supporting large media files and high-bandwidth post-production workflows - Design and maintain secure remote access for staff and clients across multiple applications - Implement and enforce cybersecurity practices appropriate to a client-facing media environment - Troubleshoot networking, routing, and performance issues quickly and methodically - Provide occasional after-hours support to keep production on schedule Must-Have Skills - 5+ years in a senior systems/network administration role - Deep knowledge of SonicWall and Palo Alto firewalls - Robust VPN experience: OpenVPN, WireGuard, Tailscale, and pfSense hardware - Hands-on experience with TrueNAS, QNAP, and Synology storage systems Deep networking expertise: Dell (FTOS), Cisco, and HP switches programming, troubleshooting, VLANs, routing, DHCP, and QoS - Cybersecurity knowledge for protecting client-facing facilities - Proven ability to design and manage multi-application remote access setups Why Join Us You'll be the technical backbone of a fast-moving post-production operation, with real ownership over the infrastructure and the autonomy to build it right.
