Senior Product Manager, Digital Products - Used Vehicles and Inventory

What to Expect
As a Senior Product Manager for used and inventory vehicle sales, you’ll be responsible for the end to end experience that supports internal applications for listing and pricing as well as the customer experience for customers purchasing these vehicles. You’ll leverage data, experimentation, and strong product instincts to launch new offerings quickly while continuously refining existing workflows for simplicity, speed, and conversion. At Tesla, we celebrate experimentation and unconventional thinking to find solutions to problems previously thought unsolvable. You’ll partner across various product and engineering teams to make purchasing a vehicle as simple as buying a book. You’ll leverage data, experimentation, and strong product instincts to launch new offerings quickly while continuously refining existing workflows for simplicity, speed, and conversion.
Please be aware this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
What You’ll Do
- Define and deliver a product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Work cross functionally between Product, Design, Engineering, QA and Production Support teams to facilitate and own new product development.
- Lead user research, benchmarking, usability studies, A/B testing and prototyping to inform new products and product improvements
- Leverage AI to improve your own efficiency, execute roadmaps, monitor results, implement prototypes and deliver faster
- Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios
- Use agile principles to write user stories, plan and drive the software development of features
- Manage and communicate dependencies with other teams
- Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision making processes
- Prioritize between new features, architectural improvements and operational excellence
What You’ll Bring

Extensive product management experience

Ability to identify external and internal customer needs and develop product strategies, roadmaps and requirements that meet those practical needs

Experience leading cross-functional product initiatives from kick-off to ship with high sense of ownership

Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology including sprint planning and execution, as well as a strong understanding of software development management methods

Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions with ability to query data from various systems to solve problems and experience in one or more data analysis tools (SQL, Google Analytics)

Entrepreneurial instincts with clear bias for informed action and track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support

Ability to successfully work with cross range of teams including engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales and operations, manufacturing

Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Thrive in fast-paced environments and value product quality and impact
