Hi All, Greetings from Tesslogs, Role:Application Developer-zOS Client: IBM End Client: Shell Location: Bengaluru We are looking for an experienced Application Developer – z/OS Mainframe with strong expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL , along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Candidates with exposure to trading applications and mainframe development tools will be preferred. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and execute unit testing to ensure application quality. Perform production support, troubleshooting, and defect resolution. Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency. Work closely with business analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Support deployment activities and production releases. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
