About the role

As a Hardware Design Lead at Tessolve Semiconductors, a venture of Hero Electronix, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - Leading the design, development, and implementation of hardware components for servers, including processors, memory, storage, and network interfaces. - Mentoring and guiding a team of hardware engineers, providing technical expertise and support, and ensuring team members adhere to industry standards. - Understanding customer requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and working with other departments to ensure a robust and scalable solution. - Collaborating with software engineers, system architects, mechanical, thermal, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and efficient system design. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of experience in hardware board design from a Semiconductor background. - Experience in custom silicon chips or mobile chipset-based validation board designs, spanning analog, mixed-signal, and digital domains. - Worked on end-to-end ecosystem of projects from requirement to final product release (circuit design, prototyping and testing) and maintenance. - Strong understanding of electronics, signal integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and power management. - Hands-on designing experience in high-speed interface standards like PCIe Gen5 or Gen6, LPDDR5, USB 3.x, Ethernet, M.2, U.2, CSI, DSI, MCIO's HSIO's. - Experience in developing detailed schematics and Technical document writing. - Expertise in the PCB design process, layout reviews, and routing guidelines. - Proficient in schematic preparation, PCB layout design, and design validation. - Strong understanding of application-specific customization and multi-chip architectures, focusing on chip efficiency, including performance and power optimization. - Strong knowledge of PCB stack-up definition, controlled impedance routing guidelines for complex stack-ups and topologies. - Hands-on experience in board bring-up and validation of high-speed interfaces, circuit validation, board debugging, functional testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. - Good hands-on experience with instruments like high-end oscilloscopes, DMM, power supply, FG, electronic loads, etc. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
