About the role
As an Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for the following: - Developing and executing automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. - Performing API automation testing using Rest Assured. - Maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks for scalable test execution. - Integrating automation suites with GitHub Actions and version control using Git. - Collaborating with development and QA teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage. - Analysing test results, identifying defects, and supporting issue resolution. - Participating in sprint planning, test estimation, and Agile ceremonies. - Ensuring automation best practices and code quality standards are followed. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing. - Strong hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript. - Experience in API Testing using Rest Assured. - Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Git. - Good understanding of automation framework design and CI/CD processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
