About the role
Description We are seeking a motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications. Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and improve quality. Perform regression testing and ensure that issues are resolved before release. Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings as part of an Agile team. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. .
