About the Job As a part of the Bare team at Tether, you will work on native module development, cross-platform builds, Bare Runtime contributions, debugging, collaboration, and communication. Key responsibilities include: - Design, implement, and ship bare-* native modules end to end - Write C native addons to bridge platform APIs into JavaScript - Maintain and extend existing native modules - Set up and maintain cross-platform builds and CI - Contribute to the Bare runtime core - Debug native addon issues across multiple OS and device targets - Collaborate with internal teams and product teams Qualifications Required: - Strong C programming skills for writing and debugging native code - Advanced JavaScript skills with a solid understanding of Node.js internals - Experience building native addons for Node.js or similar runtimes - Familiarity with asynchronous I/O frameworks like libuv - Comfortable working across macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS build toolchains - Experience with cross-compilation and platform-specific system APIs - Ability to navigate large C and C++ codebases - Self-directed work style with strong written communication skills If you are ready to be part of shaping the future of digital finance with Tether, apply now to join our innovative team.
