Linux Engineer

Job Title Linux L2 Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Linux L2 Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux system administration, Zimbra Mail Server, Nagios, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Grafana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining Linux-based infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of enterprise applications and services. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.). Perform L2 support activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management. Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Zimbra Collaboration Suite. Monitor infrastructure and applications using Nagios. Configure and manage ELK Stack for centralized log collection, analysis, and visualization. Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring. Troubleshoot server, network, and application-related issues. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu). Hands-on experience with Zimbra Mail Server administration. Experience configuring and managing Nagios monitoring. Good knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Experience creating dashboards and alerts in Grafana. Knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting. Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, SMTP, SSH, NFS, and firewall concepts. Preferred Skills Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM. Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes. Knowledge of Ansible or other automation tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Key Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
