Role Overview: As an Engineer II - Industrial Automation with Data Analyst at Thales in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in designing industrial systems, focusing on data collection, analysis, and visualization to support data-driven decisions within the organization. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining dashboards, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Key Responsibilities: - Design automation layers for real-time machine data collection, predictive maintenance, and OEE improvement. - Implement secure data acquisition protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions. - Collect and clean data from multiple sources for analysis. - Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and outliers. - Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Excel. - Present findings and recommendations to management or business units. - Automate regular reporting processes. - Ensure data accuracy and consistency. Qualification Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation and 3+ years in Data Analysis. - Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field. - Expertise in Industrial Network Architecture & Data Collection. - Strong understanding of data analysis techniques. - Proficiency in PLC(TIA Portal), OPC UA, IoT protocols (MQTT), Power BI, Grafana, and OpenSearch. - Proactive mindset, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving skills, project and time management, and willingness to interact with different stakeholders. - Experience in aerospace or automotive sectors is preferred.
