Head of Product Development

Role Overview: Were looking for a senior technology leader who enjoys building strong teams and seeing them deliver real impact. As a part of the Access family, you will lead the Pune engineering site, set direction, pace, and culture while keeping teams aligned with the global hospitality strategy. Your role will involve working closely with senior leaders across the UK and US to turn business priorities into clear technical plans and outcomes. You will oversee the delivery of cloud-based software products, focusing on reliability, security, and simple, well-designed systems. Additionally, you will support acquisitions by helping teams integrate new products and people smoothly, without losing momentum. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Pune engineering site, setting direction, pace, and culture - Work closely with senior leaders to align technical plans with business priorities - Oversee the delivery of cloud-based software products with a focus on reliability and security - Support acquisitions by ensuring smooth integration of new products and people Qualifications Required: - Significant experience leading large, product-focused engineering organizations in a software or software-as-a-service environment - Strong understanding of modern engineering practices such as continuous delivery, automated testing, and DevOps - Experience in embedding artificial intelligence into products with a focus on practical outcomes - Confidence working across time zones and cultures, building trust and strong relationships with senior stakeholders Note: The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organizations in the UK, Ireland, USA, and Asia Pacific.
