About the role
Role & responsibilities 1. Perform heating and cooling load calculations using industry tools (HAP, Trace 3D, etc.). 2. Design HVAC systems including chilled water, hot water, air distribution, and VRF systems. 3. Conduct equipment selection and sizing (AHUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers). 4. Perform detailed boiler sizing and hydronic system calculations. 5. Carry out ventilation calculations as per ASHRAE standards (62.1 / 62.2). 6. Ensure compliance with US codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, IECC, NFPA). 7. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of junior HVAC engineers and designers. 8. Review and validate design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation. 9. Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors for project execution. 10.Support project delivery, including meetings, submittal reviews, and site coordination.
