Entry-Level Computer Scientist - AI Agent Specialist

As an Entry-Level Computer Scientist AI Agent Specialist at The Asia Group, LLC in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and evaluating intelligent AI agent systems that automate complex workflows and decision-making processes. Your primary responsibility will involve supporting TAG by: - Assisting in the design and development of AI agent architectures, including single-agent and multi-agent systems capable of reasoning, planning, and tool use. - Developing and maintaining tool integrations that agents use to interact with real-world systems, including APIs, databases, and external services. - Evaluating agent performance by designing test cases, tracking key metrics, and recommending architectural or prompt-level improvements. - Supporting prompt engineering and system instruction development to shape agent behavior, tone, decision logic, and safety guardrails. - Conducting research on emerging agentic frameworks, LLM capabilities, and best practices to inform the team's agent strategy. - Collaborating with colleagues to integrate agent components with cloud infrastructure, internal data systems, and front-end interfaces. - Cleaning, structuring, and managing knowledge bases, vector stores, and data pipelines that underpin agent retrieval and reasoning. - Documenting agent architectures, maintaining code quality, and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and technical reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; or equivalent experience. - Experience: Demonstrated internship or project experience in software development, NLP, machine learning, or building applications with large language models. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for software and AI/ML development, familiarity with various LLM concepts and frameworks, experience with LLM APIs, SQL, structured data querying, and version control systems. - Soft Skills: Eager to learn and stay current with a rapidly changing AI landscape, ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, effective communication skills, and ability to adapt to change.
