About the role
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage end-to-end automation testing activities using tools such as Katalon/ Selenium/ Playwright, Appium, or equivalent. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks. - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. - Review automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and framework guidelines. - Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid delivery. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to understand business and technical requirements. - Estimate automation effort, prepare test strategies and plans, and track project milestones and deliverables. - Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and provide comprehensive test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders. - Mentor and guide automation engineers through technical support, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. - Drive continuous improvement in automation processes, tools, frameworks, and overall quality practices. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning. Required Skills - 67 years of experience in QA Automation, with 12 years of experience leading automation teams. - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Katalon, Appium, or similar automation tools. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. - Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using industry best practices. - Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium. - Strong API automation experience using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools. - Experience with test reporting frameworks such as Extent Reports or similar reporting tools. - Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack. - Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and source code version control practices. - Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
