About the role
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to build and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, JSP, Servlets , and a good understanding of MVC architecture , with Struts experience as an added advantage . Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable web applications using Core Java, JSP, and Servlets Build and maintain MVC-based applications (Struts framework preferred) Develop backend business logic ensuring performance and scalability Integrate applications with relational databases using JDBC and SQL Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat / WebLogic servers Perform bug fixing, performance tuning, and code optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth Key Requirements Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17) Expertise in JSP and Servlets (mandatory) Good understanding of Struts (added advantage) Solid experience with JDBC and SQL databases Experience in application deployment on Tomcat/WebLogic Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SOLID principles Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production systems Technical Skills Core Stack Core Java, JSP, Servlets, JDBC EJB (good to have) Frameworks Tools Struts MVC Spring / Spring Boot Hibernate / JPA Git / SVN Maven / Gradle Databases Servers Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL Apache Tomcat / WebLogic APIs REST / SOAP Web Services Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related field 7-10 years of hands-on Java development experience Experience working in enterprise or product-based environments Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Self-driven and able to handle responsibilities independently Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
