PHP Developer (CodeIgniter , MySQL)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in CodeIgniter and MySQL database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications, optimizing databases, improving application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with Snowflake or MongoDB will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: PHP CodeIgniter Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications using the CodeIgniter framework. Write clean, scalable, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Perform code optimization to enhance performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. MySQL Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain MySQL database schemas and structures. Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Perform database tuning, indexing, and performance optimization. Ensure data integrity, security, and backup management. Handle complex data operations and large datasets efficiently. Required Skills Qualifications: 5 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development. Mandatory experience with CodeIgniter framework. Strong expertise in MySQL database design, optimization, and management. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Good to Have: Experience with website performance optimization techniques. Knowledge or hands-on experience with MongoDB and/or Snowflake. Exposure to modern frontend/backend technologies such as Next.js, React.js, and Node.js.
