Duration: 1-Year Contract with potential for extension or conversion 1st Shift: Approx. 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and custom equipment. Key Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical components, fixtures, subassemblies, and robotic systems from engineering drawings. Perform mechanical alignment and install pneumatic tubing, valves, fittings, actuators, and sensors. Wire control panels, sensors, motors, and power systems using electrical schematics. Support machine testing, startup, debugging, and troubleshooting. Assist with basic PLC and robotic adjustments under engineering guidance. Maintain build documentation, redlines, and engineering change feedback. Collaborate with mechanical, controls, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Required Qualifications: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in automation, mechatronics, or machine building . 1+ year of experience with automated machinery, robotics, or custom equipment builds. Strong mechanical assembly, pneumatic, and basic electrical wiring knowledge. Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams . Experience with hand tools, measurement tools, and shop equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and work in low/prone positions. Preferred: PLC, HMI, or robotic system experience (FANUC, ABB, Mitsubishi).
