Data Scientist Operations Research

As a Senior Operations Research Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for leading production scheduling automation and optimization projects, providing operations research algorithm expertise across supply chain & operations projects. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Mathematical Modelling: You will develop models and algorithms (LP, IP, MIP, CP) to solve optimization problems. - Data Analysis: Working with large datasets, you will conduct exploratory data analysis and apply statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights. - Model Implementation: Your tasks will include implementing models using Python and developing efficient, scalable code. - Simulation: You will build and run simulation models to evaluate scheduling strategies and their impact on manufacturing efficiency. - Performance Evaluation: Evaluating models and algorithms by experiments and simulations, you will propose improvements. - Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into OR solutions and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. - Inventory Management: Managing multi-echelon inventory optimization and probabilistic inventory strategies, you will handle replenishment and deployment planning constraint and allocation solver configuration. - Supply Chain Optimization: You will be responsible for building sourcing decisions tools to optimize sourcing and allocation, conducting POCs, and providing use case reports. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-3 years of operations research project experience. - Proficiency in Python programming. - Good English communication skills.
