About the role

As a Software Engineer at the insurance company, your role will involve designing and delivering AI solutions across various domains such as RAG pipelines, chat/assistants, classification, forecasting, and recommendation systems. You will be responsible for developing and deploying GenAI capabilities to automate regulatory filing support, partnering with Legal and Compliance to ensure compliance with standards. Additionally, you will engineer and maintain domain-specific knowledge bases to power generative applications and integrate domain taxonomies and regulatory constraints into solution design. Collaboration with stakeholders across different departments and aligning initiatives to business goals will be a key aspect of your role. You will own the AI lifecycle from problem framing through deployment and collaborate with various teams for seamless integration. Your responsibilities will also include preparing multi-format content, designing retrieval strategies, authoring system prompts, and defining safe tool-use policies for reliable agent behavior. Moreover, you will be involved in defining metrics, building test sets, supporting A/B testing, and monitoring drift across various use cases. Developing and validating synthetic data pipelines, applying GenAI for customer experience optimization, and collaborating with architectural teams for scalable deployments will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve identifying and piloting emerging methods, building reusable accelerators, and staying updated on the latest trends in AI/ML and responsible AI practices.
